VW Group Culture – Crossing
Initiated by Volkswagen Group Culture, Crossing is a bilingual, biannual magazine that explores global perspectives in art, music, media, and discourse. Together with our beloved editorial agency Nansen & Piccard, Alexis Zurflüh from ÉTÉ STUDIO led the art direction over several years.

Volkswagen Group Culture follows a clear ambition: to make high-quality cultural content accessible to a broad audience. With that in mind, Crossing was conceived—accessible, but never shallow. Contemporary, yet built to last.

Crossing was developed from the ground up—a new project shaped in close collaboration with the VW Group and Nansen & Piccard. From defining its visual language, column structure, and tone of voice to setting a clear editorial rhythm, every element was designed to give form to something that didn’t exist before.
